The Our Place Milton community plan opened for feedback last month and will close on Friday next week. A statement from the Clutha District Council said the community plan projects, titled Our Place, helped determine the projects and priorities for each community.
The council had some ideas for Milton and what it could provide feedback on.
Some of the ideas centred on what the council could do with its key facilities, and how to work with the community to make it happen.
Discussion topics for Milton included the main street, walking and cycling, parks and reserves, key facilities, development opportunities and the town pool.
It was the second phase of the Our Place consultation period, after residents provided feedback on Balclutha.
Clutha Mayor Bryan Cadogan said the first phase of the process helped the council gain a greater understanding of the future direction residents wanted the town to take.
"Now we enter the next critical stage and we need you to hang in there with us as we organise to implement the various projects."
Anyone interested in being part of the consultation process could get in touch with the council.
Residents could also meet Mr Cadogan and council staff as part of the council’s "Cafe Conversations".
The next one was scheduled at Fidelis Cafe in Union St next Tuesday at 10.30am.
Waihola would be the next phase of the ‘‘Our Place’’ community process, once the Milton consultation was over.
