Balclutha businesses are invited to meet next week with some guidance from an Australian rural community mentor, to identify the three main issues facing the town.
Rural and business development co-ordinator Peter Kenyon returns to Clutha on a two-day visit to discuss revitalising the town and wider district.
Recently reformed Balclutha business group Big River Promotions, which is staging the meeting at the South Otago Town and Country Club on Tuesday night wants retailers and business people to develop ideas to boost the town's business centre.
Balclutha community co-ordinator Irene Mosley said Mr Kenyon would make a 45-minute presentation at 7.30pm.
Small groups would identify key issues and a facilitated discussion would identify n the ‘‘three big issues'' and discuss action to be taken.
