An upgrade to the Catlins New Zealand website means travellers from New Zealand and overseas can access a high quality information portal which showcases the Catlins area.
Kim Dodds, Tourism Catlins projects co-ordinator, said it was a very modern website and informative for tourists and residents.
"It is a website that shows we care about our unique region," she said.
"It gives the information that is required to help protect our wildlife and environment for the enjoyment of visitors and locals alike."
The upgraded site included an area where people who are passionate about the Catlins can contribute images and stories about the Catlins region, Ms Dodds said.
