Flying high at Field Days

Southland pupils Jessica Fennelly, Alfie Cowie, Annabelle Chrystall, Meg Howard, Millie Scott, Hayley Thorburn, Ben Cairns and Finn Ridd, all 9 and all from Limehills School, enjoy the Southern Field Days at Waimumu, near Gore, yesterday.

It is hoped 40,000 people will visit the field days, which run until tomorrow. The event, which is held every second year, has attracted 765 site-holders this year.
