The group began shortly after the second Covid lockdown to provide a safe and fun environment for people to meet and do crafts together.
"It was really because a lot of the people I knew were scared to go out after Covid and I thought what is a really safe environment that people feel comfortable in," founding member Rhi Nicholl said.
Members of the group met to chat and do whatever craft took their fancy. Some knitted, others crocheted and then there were those who just sat and enjoyed the company, she said.
Memberssaid they were more productive on their days at home than when the group met up.
Member Rebecca Ray said it kept her social.
"I love our wee group because everyone is so friendly. To me, it’s a weekly meet up with good friends and to fill my cup.
"There are times when I get hardly any crocheting done at all because we just get to chatting."
Membership of the group is free and there is a no pressure to show up.
