A 1.3-tonne stone hand, holding a tall bronze poppy, has been erected in the Luggate Heights subdivision as part of a memorial to 17-year-old Jackson (J.J.) Aitchison, killed in a car crash in October 2016.
Sculptor Josh Olley, of Luggate, guided the hand into place - in Jackson Rise - with the help of a crew from Central Crane Hire, who were briefly workmates of Mr Aitchison.

Luggate Heights developer Allan Dippie said Mr Aitchison's family would unveil a plaque tomorrow.
