Catholic schools do battle

The basketball game, which St Kevin's won 39-27, was part the Southern Junior Catholic Schools sports tournament.

Teams from Kavanagh College, St Kevin's, St Peter's and Verdon College competed across four sports. Pupils from St Joseph's School and St Mary's School helped make up the numbers.

There were about 500 pupils in action. Kavanagh College won the overall trophy.
