Southern Hoiho forward Zoe Richards has been named in the Tall Ferns extended 16-player squad ahead of their Olympic qualifiers next year.
Richards, who made her international debut in 2019 and has made seven appearances, will join 10 players as part of development camp in Auckland later this month.
Twelve players will then be selected to travel to China in February for the qualifying games.
