PPV price announced for Parker fight

Sky Television subscribers will have to pay $59.95 to watch Joseph Parker's WBO heavyweight title against Andy Ruiz Jr next month, it was announced today.

In comparison Parker's fight against Carlos Takam in May was priced at $49.95 and earlier fights in his career were a further $10 cheaper.

1700 tickets remain for the December 10 fight at Vector Arena. 422 tickets will be placed on TradeMe this week for a $1 reserve.

"We think that the price strikes a good balance signifying the moment in time and historical nature of the fight," said Duco CEO Martin Snedden.

"We are confident we've got it right and that people will respond."
