White Ferns and Otago cricket great Suzie Bates has signed with Durham Cricket for the One Day Cup and Vitality Blast.
The 37-year-old right-hander has scored more than 10,000 runs at international level across both white-ball formats and is the all-time top run-scorer in women’s T20 internationals.
The signature of Bates marks a historic occasion for Durham Cricket as the New Zealander is set to become their first female overseas-contracted player.
