Top order batsman Daniel Flynn has recovered from a hand injury and will take his place in the New Zealand side for the third cricket test against India beginning on Friday in Wellington.

Flynn, nursing heavy bruising to his left hand after being struck by an Ishant Sharma delivery during the first test at Hamilton, missed the second test in Napier which ended in a draw yesterday.

He was replaced by Jamie How who will now drop out of the side.

How faced 11 balls and scored just one run in New Zealand's first innings total of 619.

New Zealand coach Andy Moles told Radio Sport this morning that the bowling lineup will also be looked at before the team were named later today.

India lead the series 1-0 after a 10-wicket win at Hamilton.
