Thomas O’Connor produced a superb spell of bowling to lead Otago A to an eight-wicket win over Wellington A in a T20 game at the University Oval yesterday.
O’Connor grabbed four for 15 and Nikith Perera took three for 17 as Wellington A were dismissed for 130 off their final ball.
Thorn Parkes (61 off 35 balls) and Quinn Sunde (50 not out off 30 balls) helped Otago A cruise to victory in the 14th over. — Allied Media
