Tickets to the December 14 game go on sale today.
Dunedin Venues Management Ltd chief executive David Davies said a pre-game discount price would be used to reward those who buy their tickets before match day.
An adult ticket bought before game day will be $28, $6 cheaper than on the day, and children and concession tickets are $12, $4 cheaper than on the day.
"We hope this will encourage people to get in early and buy their tickets to avoid queuing on game day and allow fans to make the most of what will no doubt be a fantastic football experience," Davies said.
"We have also revised our pricing to include service fees in the advertised price to reduce confusion and simplify the purchase process. Delivery or pick-up fees will still apply."
The teams clashed in a pre-season friendly at the same venue in August, with a crowd of just over 15,000. The Roar, the defending A-league champion, won 5-1.
DVML marketing and communications manager Jo Scully said although the game next month is midweek, and at night, they were hopeful of matching the crowd numbers of August.
