Mali is the final piece in the Fifa under-20 Dunedin puzzle.
The African nation, which finished fourth at the recent under-20 African championships in Senegal, was drawn in pool D of the under-20 World Cup with Mexico, Uruguay and Serbia.
Mali will play its first two group matches against Mexico and Serbia at the renamed Otago Stadium, before playing Uruguay in Hamilton.
Nigeria, Ghana and Senegal also qualified for the tournament, which kicks off in Auckland on May 30.
As African champion, Nigeria was put straight into pool E with North Korea, Brazil and Hungary.
Mali, Ghana and Senegal were then redrawn to ensure there was no match-fixing during qualifying.
Senegal, which lost the African final 1-0 to Nigeria, was drawn as the fourth qualifier and pitted in pool C, while Ghana is in pool B as the third qualifier.
Mali went through the African championships group stage undefeated, but fell 2-1 to Senegal in the semifinal.
Ghana, which lost 2-0 to Nigeria in the other semifinal, then beat Mali 3-1 in the third and fourth playoff.
The other 20 teams to qualify for the World Cup were drawn into pools last month.
New Zealand benefited from a favourable draw to be pitted in pool A with Ukraine, Myanmar and the United States.
Dunedin will host six group matches and a round-of-16 match.
