
A hat-trick from Jordan Rapana has given Canberra back-to-back wins for the first time this NRL season in their 42-16 win over Gold Coast at Cbus Super Stadium.
The Titans have struggled at home, losing the last five of their six matches at Robina.
This round six fixture was no different, with Rapana scoring a hat trick within the first 25 minutes of the match.
Joseph Leilua and Rapana regularly linked up on the right hand side for devastating effect notching 16 points between them and putting a contender in for try of the season.
Gold Coast's slow start to games continued as Canberra put together three back-to-back sets at the beginning of both halves, leaving the Titans gasping in defence.
With ball in hand the Titans offered glimpses of quality but struggled to have repeat sets through unforced errors and giving away seven penalties during the game.
Karl Lawton surprised for the Gold Coast with his strong running out of dummy half earning himself try and setting up Ash Taylor early in the second half.
Canberra's win takes their record at Cbus Super Stadium to 7 wins from 10 games.
