The Warriors have named a strong side to take on the Brisbane Broncos in Dunedin on Sunday.
The squad named to travel south includes plenty of players who starred at last weekend's Nines tournament in Auckland, including key playmakers Shaun Johnson and Sam Tomkins.
Also lining up in the match is Warriors captain Simon Mannering, who will have his first trial match of the season, after having an extended off-season break.
It will also be the first trial for Johnson and Tomkins, who missed the first two trials against the Gold Coast Titans and Wigan to help prepare for the Nines tournament.
It will be the first time Tomkins, the big-money signing from Wigan, makes an appearance for the Warriors in a 13-man game.
Also lining up in the 22-man squad are new signings Jayson Bukuya and Chad Townsend. This will be Bukuya's first game for the Warriors, while Townsend played in the loss to Wigan.
The only obvious absentee is big winger Manu Vatuvei, with coach Matt Elliott deciding to rest the winger for the opening-round encounter against the Eels on March 9.
Elliott said the intention was to field the strongest squad possible and he had done that.
The Broncos are yet to name their side but there are injury clouds over new fullback Ben Barba and forward David Stagg.
Barba has a minor foot problem and it is unclear whether he will be available for Sunday's game. Stagg appears to be a definite non-starter after damaging his knee at the Nines tournament.
The match will kick off at 3pm on Sunday. The Warriors won the inaugural match between the two 16-10 last year at the stadium.
