Alhambra-Union celebrate after winning the Dunedin club rugby league final against the Kia Toa Tigers are Montecillo on Saturday.

After trailing 20-12 at halftime, the AU Stallions saddled up to win 40-24, their sixth consecutive win this season.

Sailusi Temaka finished with a haul of 22 points, including three tries and five conversions.

The Tigers struck first through Poyer Reihana-Finau and Daniel Dam, and Temaka hit back towards the end of the half, making it 20-12 to Kia Toa at halftime.

Joseph Chang scored early in the second half for the Tigers but then the Stallions kicked into gear.

They scored 28 answered points in the second half to secure the title.

Temaka scored yet again and was accurate with the boot to keep things ticking over for the Stallions.
