Malawian sharp-shooter Mwai Kumwenda has re-signed with the Mainland Tactix for next season.
The 1.83-metre tall goal shoot has impressed in this year's ANZ Championship with her dynamic and flamboyant style, recording shooting statistics rivalling the top players in the league.
Kumwenda has settled well in Christchurch and was keen to return for another season.
"I love it in Christchurch and am blessed to have the opportunity to play ANZ Championship netball with great teammates and the chance to train in a supportive environment," she said.
Kumwenda is currently shooting at 91.5 per cent accuracy to be among the top four players in the league in her first season and averages almost 42 goals per match.
