The 69th edition of the Tour of Southland will take place from January 18 to 24.
Usually raced in November, the tour was postponed following the state of emergency after the wild weather in the South.
The Tour of Southland committee took various factors into account, including accommodation availability, the international cycling calendar, other major Southland events and traffic management planning, all of which needed to align to make the event viable.
