O'Reilly starts the day in his own colours behind the talented The Dream Maker in race 1.
The horse caught the eye with a huge run for second at Motukarara after recovering from an early gallop.
''She went really well that day. She just got a bit confused at the start, but went very well afterwards,'' the trainer-driver said.
''We will just put that down to first-day nerves and she will be better for the experience.
''She should do things right.''
The indiscretion at Motukarara was the first thing she had done anything like that, he said..
O'Reilly will combine with the Terry McMillan-trained Tornado Valley in today's feature trot, race 6.
Though the horse takes on a line up of in-form middle-grade trotters, he faces a much easier task than in his recent races in which he clashed with topliners Harriet Of Mot and Everybody Knows.
''This is his sort of field.
''He was a bit disappointing last time but hopefully he has freshened up a wee bit. On his day he can sprint up really well and if he got the right run he wouldn't be far away.''
The Geoff Dunn-trained Glengarry Rose (race 4) is in a similar position to Tornado Valley.
The mare has done all of her recent racing at Addington where she has run into smart types such as Fizzing, Sherrif, Star Commander and Master Moonlite.
The horse has placed in her only start at Oamaru and starts from the handy draw of barrier 4.
''She went really well last start. We had to come out a bit earlier than we wanted to,'' O'Reilly said.
''She is a really nice sit-sprint horse and has a good wee burst on her so she should be not be far away.''
Art Collector heads the remainder of O'Reilly's drives, in race 9.
The Geoffrey Kelk-trained 4yr-old ran nicely on debut on Christmas Eve at Ashburton but did not handle a slushy Timaru track in his next start, last week.
''On his day, he is a nice horse. He is still learning but he has enough ability to win a race or two,'' O'Reilly said.
''From the 2000m stand, if he can begin fast enough he shouldn't be too far away.''
O'Reilly also drives Art Collector's stablemate, Handsome Hero, in race 7 and Classie Cullect in race 3.
Punters who copped a bloody nose after backing the desperately unlucky, but impressive, Horse Of Course get an opportunity to follow their money again in race 2.
The trotter was wiped out of contention at Omakau last week on debut and then staged a massive recovery to run second.
Another Phil Williamson-trained trotter in the same race is in a similar position.
Our Gracie locked wheels with a rival runner as the tapes were released, which sent driver Matthew Williamson out of her cart, when she was favourite at Roxburgh last week.
