Lord Jowers, a stablemate of Floyd Mayweather, is a leading prospect in race 10 on the strength of a win at Methven two starts back.
Highway To Hell (race 2) is now the drive of Clark Barron in the invited drivers' series of five races. Barron drew Hilarious Lavra, who has been scratched. The first emergency in the race, Hayton J R, was also scratched.
Nathan Williamson, the trainer of last-start winner Latheronwheel in race 3, has the drive on Phil's Gift in the same race.
Talkmeintoit, who finished third to Paramount Geegee and Springbank Sam in the Harness Jewels race for 3yr-old trotters at Ashburton in June, is starting fresh with Dexter Dunn the driver. The Phil Williamson-trained Talkmeintoit won fresh up on the grass at Motukarara in January. Hamish Hunter has drawn top prospect Quality Invasion in race 5.
• The New Zealand Sires' Stakes Board has announced increases for the PGG Wrightson Yearling Sales 3yr-old division this season.
The open race at Alexandra Park has been increased $25,000 to $275,000 The fillies race at Addington on February 4 has been increased by $50,000 to $200,000 and the race for trotters at Rangiora on March 1 is now $85,000, up $15,000.
