The daughter of Thorn Park has done nothing wrong in her first three starts over the sprint distances for Riverton trainer Kelvin Tyler and he expects her to be well suited by the 1600m today.
''She's screaming out for more ground, so she's got a mile this time,'' Tyler said.
''She's working unreal, so hopefully, Wednesday is her day.
The 6yr-old mare's three runs have been on heavy or dead tracks, so the slow surface at Winton should fall right into her range.
''They've missed quite a bit of rain at Winton and it's quite a good surface there - she'll handle it.''
Rebecca Black will take the ride on Thorn Majic and Tyler expects Black to send the mare forward from her draw of four.
''She has plenty of speed so hopefully, she'll get handy.
''They're not very big fields, so you could be last and probably only be four lengths off them, anyway.''
Today's meeting is far from the end goal for Peter Parrot, who resumes after a long break in the rating 75 1600m today.
The Danske 5yr-old is carded to carry 60kg today, but Tyler opted to put apprentice jockey Doni Prastiyou on board to receive a 3kg claim.
''I put Doni on just to get a little extra weight off his back,'' Tyler said.
''He'll probably need the run ... we probably don't expect him to win.
''He had quite a hard race after the Cromwell Cup [in March], so we gave him a good break.
''He seems nice and bright but fresh-up over a mile is always hard to win.''
Peter Parrot holds a nomination for the New Zealand Cup in November, but is 47th in the order of entry, so will need to pick up at least 10 rating points to get a start if the nominations hold up.
Schockemohle (race 6) is a new addition to Tyler's stable from Kelly Thompson and Tyler has been impressed with the Senor Pete gelding's attitude in track work.
''I'll be disappointed if he doesn't go a really tidy race.
''Every time we've given him a gallop, he just seems to be cantering along. I think he's quite a handy horse.''
Tyler's outlook for Rubysmyne (race 7) is not quite so positive.
''We've had a lot of problems with her, and I still don't know if we have got to the bottom of them. It could be her last race.
''I'll be surprised if she figures in the finish.''
Timy Tyler, who impressed as a 2yr-old, holds a nomination for the 2000 Guineas at Riccarton in November.
His first start of his 3yr-old year will be against his age group over 1200m at Wingatui on September 28.
Tyler said the No Excuse Needed colt's work consisted of learning to settle as the trainer aimed him for the Guineas distance.
''His work every day revolves around him just dropping the bit. He's always working behind Peter Parrot or Saragarhi to get him to just relax.
''At the moment, he's just racing far too fierce for him to get over a mile.''
