Sonnetsson, impressive winner of the Motukarara Cup last Friday, is heading to Wyndham on Saturday.

A member of the West Melton stable of Margot Nyhan, Sonnetsson is in the $18,000 Wyndham Cup.

The Motukarara win was compensation for Sonnetsson losing his driver at the start of the Waikouaiti Cup at his previous start when checked. Sonnetsson has not finished further back than fourth in his past seven starts, apart from the Waikouaiti Cup.

Sonnetsson qualified at Wyndham in September, 2008 when trained by Alan Parker at Roxburgh.

"It is going to be a hot field so there is no point busting him before the Interdoms."

Auckland Reactor was the $3 favourite for the Auckland Cup yesterday with Smoken Up on $8.

Franco Jamar has also been withdrawn.

The Victorian trotter Down Under Muscles has been withdrawn from the Interdominion.

"He has lost his confidence," Chris Alford, his trainer, said.
