The three women were the second group to be recognised after the inaugural awards last year.
Green has served on the Marlborough Racing Club for many years and is well known to trainers crossing Cook Strait on the Interislander ferries, as she assists them with finding a place to keep their horses when ferry crossings are delayed.
Christophers, of Winton, has made her name as an owner, trainer and breeder and was represented on the track on Sunday by Belle D'Or, who finished fourth in the rating 85 2200m.
''I feel very, very humbled by this,'' Christophers said.
Otago Racing Club past-president Diana Strang was also recognised for her hard work - not only with the club, but also with the Otago apprentice school.
''Breeding and racing horses must be right up there at the top of the pole for me,'' Strang said.
