All roads will lead to Whitestone Contracting Stadium on Saturday — except the gate will be open only to a select few.

The North Otago club final will take place on Saturday and will involve two country sides — Valley and Maheno. The last time two country teams met in the final was in 2018 when Valley beat Kurow before a large crowd of about 2000.

But this Saturday will be an all-ticketed event.

North Otago Rugby Football Union chief executive Colin Jackson said the union had to follow government guidelines under Alert Level 2 and gatherings could not be more than 100.

The tickets had already been allocated to the two clubs and supporters.

Jackson said the game would be broadcast on radio while it was also looking at live-streaming the contest.

The Central Otago club final will be played at Cromwell on Saturday when the Cromwell Goats take on Arrowtown.

The Cromwell club has created an area for players, management and referees.

It will also have three separate fan zones around the field, all limited to 100 people.
