Halfback Brad Weber was in rampaging form when Dunedin scored nine tries to beat Green Island 55-8 at Kettle Park in Dunedin club rugby today.

His quick delivery gave the Dunedin backline space and this was appreciated by first five-eighth Kai Daniel and midfield back Tim Tolovae who both scored two tries.

Players to stand out in the pack were No 8 Gareth Evans, and hooker Aaron Clark who scored two tries.

Taieri's midfield combination of Kieran Moffat and Ben Nowell paved the way for a 29-8 win over Pirates at Peter Johnstone Park.

Moffat's try early in the second half was a gem and the midfield combination paved the way for tries to Alex Fitzgerald and Kori Rupene.

A late penalty goal by Stephen Fenemor gave University A a narrow 11-9 win over Kaikorai at the University Oval.

First five-eighth Ben Patston kicked five goals from six attempts to give Southern a commanding 28-6 win over Harbour at Hancock Park.

Southern's three tries were scored in the first 32 minutes and they led 22-6 at halftime.

Peter Breen's boot gave Alhambra-Union a 21-17 win over Zingari-Richmond at Montecillo.

University A 11, Kaikorai 9; Taieri 29, Pirates 8; Alhambra-Union 21, Zingari-Richmond 17; Dunedin 55, Green Island 8; Southern 28, Harbour 6.
