Luke Whitelock has signed on with the Highlanders for a further two seasons, the team announced via their Facebook page today.
The 25-year-old looseforward arrived at the franchise this year after four years at the Crusaders, where he struggled to break into a quality line-up.
Since moving south Whitelock has played six games for the Highlanders, most recently putting in a good display against his old team in a win at Forsyth Barr Stadium.
Whitelock, younger brother of Sam, Adam and George, is currently the Highlanders only All Black forward, having played one test for the team in 2013 against Japan.
