Two Highlanders will join up with Dillon Hunt to play for the Barbarians against the All Blacks at Twickenham this weekend.

Barbarians coach Robbie Deans named his squad yesterday and it includes 13 New Zealanders.

Hunt was named in the team last week, one of five New Zealanders who will play for the invitation team and then link up with the All Blacks in the French leg of their northern tour.

Also included in the team are Highlanders No8 Luke Whitelock and utility back Richard Buckman.

Buckman played for a World XV team which had a good win over Japan in a match in Tokyo last weekend.

The Barbarians side also includes former All Blacks Steven Luatua and Ben Franks, who are both playing for clubs in England.

The match will be played on Sunday at 4am (NZ time).

Meanwhile, two Otago forwards have been named in a 52-strong squad for a New Zealand Colts training camp.

The camp, to take place in December, is the first stage in picking a side to play in the world junior championships next year.

Otago forwards Ricky Jackson and Slade McDowall have been picked in the squad, along with Southland hooker Flynn Thomas and Southland halfback Jay Renton. Former Otago Boys' High School pupil Sione Asi, who plays for Manawatu, is also named in the squad.

Otago outside back Vilimoni Koroi was not selected as he has sevens commitments.

The colts side will again by coached by Craig Philpott, who will be again joined by assistant coach Willie Rickards and scrum coach Dave Hewett.

Former All Black David Hill, now an assistant coach with Bay of Plenty, will join the coaching team in an assistant's role.
