Fun, sun, and seaside spirit took centre stage as Brighton turned on the charm for a massive milestone celebration. The Brighton Gala Day marked its 30th anniversary at the Brighton Domain on Sunday with an estimated crowd of 12,000 people enjoying the sunshine after a grey start. The event featured 150 stalls, carnival rides, live entertainment and scenic flights from Helicopters Otago. Allied Media photographer Gerard O’Brien captured all the colour at the joyful event.
