The giant community event will be held tomorrow and Saturday, 10am-10pm each day.
Book sale co-ordinator Kath Wallace said Taskforce Green workers had been a great help in transporting the heavy boxes of books, as well as bric-a-brac, puzzles, games and art works, to the Edgar Centre for the sale.

Volunteers are working alongside teams of Taskforce Green workers to transport and set up tens of thousands of books, along with bric-a-brac, art works and more, at the More FM Arena, Edgar Centre, ready for the Regent Theatre 24 Hour Book Sale tomorrow and Saturday.
Funds raised through the book sale will go towards important purchases for the Regent Theatre, which is run by a charitable trust, the Regent Theatre Trust of Otago.
