After a one-year hiatus, one of Woodend's favourite motoring events is back.

USA Day returns to Gladstone Park on Sunday, November 1, bringing with it a celebration of everything we love about American classic cars.

“It's a day where the unmistakable rumble of V8 engines fills the air, chrome gleams in the sunshine, and automotive history comes alive,” American Classic Club Club president Graeme Martin says.

“While every continent can boast a motoring legacy, there is always an inescapable feeling that America is where it all started.”

From beautifully preserved classics of the 1950s and ’60s to the legendary muscle cars of the golden era, visitors will have the opportunity to get up close to some of America's most iconic vehicles.

Mr Martin says the cars defined generations, turning heads with their bold styling, raw horsepower, and unmistakable presence.

But USA Day is about more than just cars.

“It's about community, conversation, and shared passion. The aroma of freshly brewed coffee and sizzling hotdogs will mingle with the scent of polished leather and petrol, creating an atmosphere that car enthusiasts and families alike can enjoy,” he says.

“We are delighted to welcome Classic Workshop as our major sponsor this year.

“Their display of expertly restored American classics (many of which will be on display) is sure to be a highlight of the day, showcasing the craftsmanship, dedication, and attention to detail required to preserve these magnificent machines for future generations.”

Classic Workshop is more than just a collection of unique and expertly restored cars, he says.

It offers a full mechanical and restoration service to the Classic Car industry.

“Whether you're a lifelong enthusiast, a former owner reliving cherished memories, or simply a young Mum or Dad looking for something to appease the curiosity of the kids, what better way than to introduce them to some of the finest examples of American automotive innovation and design.”

USA Day offers something for everyone.

Walk amongst the cars, meet fellow enthusiasts, talk to the owners, share stories, and enjoy a day celebrating a unique chapter of motoring history.

Mark your calendar and join us at Gladstone Park, Woodend, on Sunday, November 1, Mr Martin says.

“Come and experience the muscle, the horsepower, the chrome, and the spirit of America on wheels.”
