The actress is the first Seinfeld cast member to receive the honour.
The star unveiling comes eight days before the fifth season finale of Louis-Dreyfus' CBS comedy The New Adventures of Old Christine.
Louis-Dreyfus, 49, has won two Emmys, one for The New Adventures of Old Christine and one for her portrayal of Elaine Benes Seinfeld, which aired from 1990 to 1998.
