That is obvious in his loose yet sublime guitar playing, yet it also resides in a soulful crooning on an eight-song extended EP that offers lots of light.
From the stomping prog-funk of opener Sugar to the blissed-out dance vibe of Providence and the laidback syncopation of the title track, Tokona shows he's more than a technician and/or a showman (neither of which are bad).
Add to the list a songwriting heavyweight who offers plenty of excuses to shake the booty.
