Don Henley announces Australian/NZ tour

Eagles founding member Don Henley will tour Australia and New Zealand next year with a run of indoor and outdoor events, including A Day on the Green shows.

Henley was Down Under last year with the rest of his bandmates but this will be his first visit  since the group lost founding member Glenn Frey, who died this year from complications from rheumatoid arthritis, acute ulcerative colitis and pneumonia.

On this tour, Henley will perform music from his time with the Eagles and his solo career, such as The Boys of Summer and Heart Of The Matter, and including songs from his latest album Cass County, named after the East Texas county in which he was raised.

The eight-time Grammy Award winner will be joined on stage by his 15-piece band for the shows, and supported on the tour by singer-songwriter Jewel.
