A Samoa relief fundraising concert featuring top New Zealand musicians will take place in Auckland this month.

I Love The Islands, hosted by Oscar Kightley and featuring more than 20 acts, would be held at Vector Arena on October 19.

Two of the performers, Scribe and Savage, lost family members in the tsunami that devastated Samoa last week.

Other acts included Neil and Tim Finn, Dave Dobbyn, Bic Runga, Nesian Mystik, Elemeno P, Hollie Smith and the Jordan Luck Band.

Further concerts would be held in Wellington, Christchurch and Dunedin, with dates and line-ups to be announced shortly.

Tickets go on sale on Friday and cost $25 at ticketmaster.co.nz
