The celebrity couple, who had been married for nearly four years, announced their dramatic split on Monday.
Britain's tabloids were filled with stories about the pair on Tuesday, with The Sun reporting Andre dumped his wife after seeing pictures of her drunk in a nightclub cosying up to another man.
"She's out of control," he told the newspaper.
"There's nobody I feel threatened by when she's sober. But if she's drinking I know she's capable of anything.
"The devil gets inside her and she's a nightmare. I trust her when she's sober but I don't trust her when she's drinking."
Price, better known as Jordan from her topless modelling days, fled the couple's home in Surrey with their three children, saying Andre was "the love of my life".
"We have children together and I am devastated and disappointed by Peter's decision to separate and divorce me - as I married him for life," she said in a statement.
"This is not what I want and the decision has been taken out of my hands. I will not comment further or do any interviews regarding the separation. But I will always love my Pete."
