A Hui at Araiteuru Marae in Dunedin recently brought together nursing and allied health staff new to Southern DHB.
Organised by the Professional Development Unit, Allied Health, and Māori Health Directorate Po Taki Pou Tāki Cultural Educators Lisa Te Raki and Mathew Kiore, Hui Whanaukataka focused on building workforce cultural competency, tikaka best practice, building relationships and connecting the healthcare workforce with Māori health provider services.
