Adelaide's last drive-in goes up in flames

Fire has destroyed Adelaide's last remaining drive-in cinema, after someone used a car to break into the property and steal an ATM.

The main building at the Mainline Drive-In at Gepps Cross went up in flames at about 1.30am on Wednesday and authorities say the suspicious blaze has caused at least $400,000 in damage.

An ATM was stolen from the cinema and about an hour later it was found in the tray of a stolen ute that was found burning in the nearby suburb of Ottoway.
