Two men charged over Sydney stabbing

Police have charged two men with affray and reckless wounding over a stabbing incident in Sydney's west late last year.

After breaking up a fight in Campbelltown on Friday, December 2, police found two 26-year-old men had been stabbed in the fracas.

One of the men had cuts on his head and torso, the other had suffered a wound to his back.

Several people fled when police tried to stop the fight, but a 19-year-old man was arrested nearby and charged with affray, stealing from a person and two counts of reckless wounding in company.

Police on Monday charged a 20-year-old Claymore man with with affray and two counts of reckless wounding in relation to the incident.

He was refused bail and will appear before Campbelltown Local Court on Wednesday.

The 19-year-old man is due to reappear before Campbelltown Local Court on Monday, July 30.
