A man wanted for allegedly killing a seagull in central Dunedin has been arrested.
Senior Sergeant Anthony Bond said officers identified a 54-year-old man wanted in connection with a "cruelty of animals matter" in George St at 9.05pm on Monday.
The man allegedly killed a seagull in the Octagon on February 12, Snr Sgt Bond said.
The man was charged with wilful neglect and cruelty to animals, and will appear in court tomorrow. — APL
