Two women were arrested and charged with aggravated robbery after armed police [pictured above] converged on a central Dunedin property yesterday.
Police said the two women, aged 31 and 38, were arrested after armed police and the armed offenders squad cordoned off Maitland St about 4.30pm as they carried out a search warrant.
The pair were arrested following an aggravated robbery at a residential address in St Kilda earlier in the afternoon.
They are due to appear in the Dunedin District Court today.
