Barclay grant for museum

The Otago Museum has used a $45,000 grant from the Dr Marjorie Barclay Trust to help fund a recent major refurbishment of the museum's Nature Galleries.

The museum receives annual grants from the trust.

Born in Waimate, Dr Barclay graduated from the University of Otago with MB ChB qualifications in 1923, and, after working abroad, later returned to Dunedin and was employed by the then Otago Hospital Board and taught at the Otago Medical School.
