Auckland-based pop singer Benee performs in front of a crowd of about 2000 at a sold-out Dunedin Town Hall on Saturday night.

The four-time NZ Music Awards winner, whose real name is Stella Rose Bennett, is in the middle of a four-stop New Zealand tour that started in Christchurch and wraps up with three dates in Wellington this week and two in Auckland next week.

The 20-year-old singer’s 2019 single Supalonely gained international popularity following its success on video-sharing platform TikTok.

Also last year she won NZ Music Awards for single of the year, best solo artist, breakthrough artist of the year and best pop artist.
