The Otago Rescue Helicopter Trust and the Otago Youth Adventure Trust have received 75% of the funds.
Berwick Lodge camp warden Jenny Scott said the money would benefit the camp in a lot of ways and would help with maintenance and repairs.
''We are very very grateful because we can get new spouting, waterproof covers for mattresses and it will help with general repairs,'' she said.
The money was raised by holding an auction at the Rabobank Taieri Winter Crop Competition.
Taieri Lions Club president Colin Scurr was thankful businesses and contractors offered services, vouchers, machinery and trips away to the 300 people who attended.
''Ski trips and weekends away in Queenstown were some of the things people could bid on,'' he said.
Rotary Club of Taieri president Peter Williams said collaboration between the two clubs was good because they complemented each other with different roles on the project.
An organiser of the competition, Drew Carruthers was pleased the businesses in the farming community were willing to help out so much.
''These are the companies who support the farmers in a wide range of ways,'' he said.
The rest of the money will be split between both clubs and will be given to organisations of their choice.
