Sunny weather and the imminent start to good boating conditions caused items for sale at the Otago Yacht Club’s Jumble Sale on Saturday to fly off the shelves. 

Otago Yacht Club committee member Ann Flamank (pictured) said they had a variety of items for sale from members’ own collections of gear, and much of it had been sold within the first half hour. 

However, items kept steadily trickling in as more members came to replenish stocks. 

Items for sale included a canoe, life jackets, boats, ropes, flags, lights and books.
