A Mosgiel community support agency which has operated for 14 years has had a change of ownership.
The Arahina Family Support Centre, which operates from a house in Perth St, Mosgiel, has merged with the Methodist Mission.
The unveiling of a new sign and handover celebration was held yesterday.
The centre provides community courses, including school programmes, budgeting courses and life skills workshops.
Arahina Trust Board chairman Austen Banks said in a statement the trust had found the administration of its work increasingly difficult.
Methodist Mission general manager Laura Black said the centre served more than 1500 people annually.
