Three teenagers are marched into the Dunedin Central police station after allegedly vandalising an abandoned office building yesterday.

A police spokesman said shortly before 2pm an informant called to report six teenagers, three boys and three girls, vandalising an abandoned office block near the Octagon and smashing windows.

Fire crews were also called to the Wilson Parking building in upper Moray Pl about the same time to an apparent false alarm, but it was unknown whether the callouts were linked.

A short time afterwards, two police officers marched three of the youths allegedly involved in the vandalism from the Octagon to Dunedin Central police station.
