'Active burglar' on the loose in South Dunedin

A man wanted by police in connection with a string of burglaries is believed to be in South Dunedin and allegedly still committing crimes.

Dunedin police are appealing for information regarding Gordon Green, who is facing multiple burglary charges and has several active warrants.

Green is 180cm tall, of medium-solid build with distinctive bulldog tattoos on either side of his neck and on his forearm.

Police believe the 39-year-old is ``actively offending, and is being provided accommodation by associates in South Dunedin".

They warned the public not to approach Green.
