A man found asleep at the wheel of his car with a semi-eaten kebab on the passenger seat blew more than three times the legal alcohol limit.
Senior Sergeant Craig Dinnissen said police were called by a security guard at an Octagon bar after an intoxicated man left the premises and got into his car.
Police found the 37-year-old in his car, which was still running, at the corner of Eglinton Rd and Stafford St in Mornington at 2.30am.
He was asleep at the wheel, with a partially eaten kebab on the passenger seat.
He recorded an excess breath alcohol level of 810mcg, more than three times the legal level of 250mcg.
