Education officer

Laura Harris is the Otago University Students' Association's new education officer after a by-election this week.

Ms Harris won 36.09% of the 629 votes cast in the by-election. Results were announced yesterday.

In her election profile on the OUSA website she promised to ''push for positive change'' regarding student allowances, exam models and the class representative system.
